A series of meeting to share experiences

The Project encompasses several general outcomes to be achieved by virtue of a series of activities, which shall serve as a means to attaining a number of specific aims over the next four years. These outcomes shall be reached through the activities designed for each of the different stages within the exchange programmes based on experiences shared by various public administrations.

The exchanges of experiences are processes by which administrations can share lessons learned together with best practices - which should be relevant to Latin America - in areas such as design, deployment and management of fiscal policies which have an impact on social cohesion. All those interested in participating should complete the forms below, in accordance with objectives.

Transfer of experiences may take place from European countries, or from Latin America, through informal training programmes (class-room based or distance learning), or by means of internship or study visits, expert technical assistance, or a combination of any/all of the above.

The experience exchange meetings follow a four-part format: 1) identification of the general policy and institutional needs in the recipient country(ies), and identification of potentially transferable experiences; 2) validation of the supply and demand matching suppliers with those seeking such exchanges; 3) execution of proposals of support to beneficiary institutions; and 4) evaluation and dissemination of each activity and of the overall project strategy, which may lead to the definition of new priorities.
